LAKE NORMAN BASKETBALL

    lake norman boys have a record of 20-1(15-1) in 3a basketball they are ranked in the sweet 16. their only lost was to west rowan. who lake norman beat the first time. what do people think about them for a playoff run?

    I haven't seen them play but I plan on being there when (I don't think the "if" applies here) they meet in the NPC tournament finals.

    The NPC tournament will be played at West Iredell HS but I don't know of any dates as of yet.

    STATE 3A PLAYOFFS SECTION 2:
    There is much on the line as the NPC has priority over the other conferences when two equal seeds meet.

    The #1 seed out of the NPC (LN or WR) can have home-court advantage through the sectionals if they win; however, a 3rd rounder vs. Concord looms.

    The #2 seed (again, LN or WR) will have at least one home game (1st round) and possibly another but they'll have to go through Ragsdale on the road to do it.....

    Concord, Ragsdale, Lake Norman, & West Rowan are definitely the favs.

    STATE 3A PLAYOFFS SECTION 1:
    I'd be really shocked if Hickory didn't win this section.

    yes two transfers from north meck and one from garringer. now their conference champs.

    lake norman wins again beating porter ridge by 15 now they play wed 2/25 at home.

    Lake norman beat trinity 72-69. they play at home friday night. this game was close. lake norman was winning by as many as 20 but let trinity slip back in it in the second half.
