    looks like hickory started off well winning both of their scrimmages pretty easy on saturday. pitching was very strong allowing only 1 run the whole day along with strong defense. the offense looked very well too putting up 6 runs in the first game and 8 or 9 in the second. they showed 6 different pitchers all pitching very well. also almost every one on hickorys team got at least one hit. tyler barnette hitting a bomb off the scoreboard set the tone in the second game. watch out for the tornadoes this year.

    Hickory did look good on Saturday, but it is still early. Defensively, they look solid. Hammonds, Barnette, Christopher and Willis looked good on the mound. Hammonds, Christopher, Johnson and Shook looked good at the plate with multiple hits. Barnette home run was smoked.
