    Boys first round at higher seeds
    (6) South Iredell at (3) Bessemer City, 7
    (7) North Lincoln at (2) Cherryville, 7
    (5) Lincolnton at (4) Highland Tech, 7
    (9) Draughn at (1) East Lincoln, 8
    Girls first round at higher seeds
    (6) Lincolnton at (3) East Lincoln, 6:30
    (7) Highland Tech at (2) North Lincoln, 7
    (5) Cherryville at (4) West Lincoln, 7
    (8) Bessemer City at (1) Draughn, 7
    Wednesday
    Boys semifinals at higher seeds
    SI-BC winner vs. NL-Ch winner, TBA^
    Linc-HT winner vs. Drau-EL winner, TBA^
    Girls semifinals at higher seeds
    Linc-EL winner vs. HT-NL winner, TBA^
    Ch-WL winner vs. BC-Drau winner, TBA^
    ^Game time is 7 p.m. if a site hosts only one game. If there are two games at the same site, the girls begin at 6:30 followed by boys at 8.
    Friday
    Boys and girls finals at East Lincoln
    Girls championship, 6:30
    Boys championship, 8

    Wednesday Games

    #1 Draughn vs #4 West Lincoln

    #3 East Lincoln vs #2 North Lincoln

    These should be some pretty good games.
    One thing to watch; Lindsey Wright (East) left the game in the 4th quarter with an ankle injury Mon. night.

    Lindsay is not playing tonight against North LIncoln. Should be an interesting game now.

    Looks like now the playoffs are set for the SP teams. They all are matched up with CCC teams which is tough. Central Davidson goes to Draughn, Ledford goes to N Lincoln, E Lincoln goes to Salisbury, and W Lincoln goes to E Davidson.

    A couple days late:

    Southern Pied. Championship

    North Lincoln 72
    Draughn 70

    Good game that could have went either way at the end. IMO North played like they wanted it a little more. Draughn played like they had already won it before it started. Congrats to North, they did what they needed to do to win. Daughn girls we are all very proud of the season you are having, and it's not over yet.
    Congrats to the players and coaching staff, it is awesome to hang a Championship banner in your first year!

    CCC takes out 3/4 SPC teams.
    Draughn beats C Davidson by 19

    East Davidson beats W Lincoln by 30
    Salisbury beats E Lincoln by 60
    Ledford beats N Lincoln by 7

    Like East Lincoln had a chance after the brawl, the head coach not there, their best player injured and their 2nd best player up and transfers to North Lincoln before the playoff game 'cause Mommy and Daddy can't control themselves for two years...way to support your teammates.
