    Weddington grad and UNCC freshman Tyler Pilkington gets the nod for a weekend start. Tyler will go against Clemson today.

    Freshman and 08 Weddington grad Tyler Pilkington made his college debut starting Sunday at #19 ranked Clemson and went 7IP 1R, 9k, 3H left the game with a 5-1 lead but Clemson rallied on the bullpen for 6-5 win in 10 inn. Tyler got the no decision but was dominant in his debut. Great job Tyler

    That is an amazing feat...and to think it happened in his college debut is more than impressive. Good job Tyler
