SMC sweeps Lenoir CC

    Spartanburg Methodist College easily swept a quality Lenoir team this past weekend. SMC is currently 14-0 and ranked #5 in the country by pgcrosschecker.com.

    I was expecting Lenoir to challenge, but it looks as if they didn't even stand a chance. I think SMC outscored them by about 25+ runs in the series.

    Best JUCO in this part of the country...bar none.

    We started to travel down to see some of that matchup. Wish we would have now. SMC is playing some great ball.

    LCC has a great program but you gotta remember they are JUCO Divison II because of money reasons. LCC will also have to fight off new baseball programs in the state such as Brunswick and Wake Tech.

    SMC always has a top notch program, sounds like they got a roster full of studs this year though.

    lcc did split against darlington on friday, they are going to be ok
