    Since I dont see this mentioned elsewhere, I will post this

    Porter Ridge freshman Lexi Davis had a pretty good first high school game yesterday. She pitched a 3 hit shutout against defending conference champ Hickory Ridge 2-0. PR was held to 2 hits. Davis doubled in a run and homered.
    Not a bad day.

    Just remember, the season is long and the challengers will be tougher! :boxing_smiley: But agree not a bad start! :clapclap:

    Lexi Davis one to watch!!

    Lexi Davis is definitely one to watch. A power pitcher as a freshman, as good as most seniors out there, not to mention a power hitter! Porter Ridge will be extremely competitive with her on the mound this season!

    Great job Lexi!!!! I know you'll be great all season.

    Dallas is trying to keep up ;).......She got her first win last night as well at NW Cabarrus.

    Be Careful !!

    I know Lexi and her parents very well, she is not a bragging kid ,but works hard,and plays the game with heart. I woul be careful stating that she is better than most seniors. Seniors earn the respect because they are seniors, and we need to remember that as an order of rank. I will agree though she is one to watch in the years to come !!
