I just want to give a little shout out to Stetson, a kid this Greenville Rose dad enjoys watching play the game of baseball. I was fortunate to get a chance to watch him perform for AK last May in the 4A championship series and I got to see him again for a few innings this past Saturday in Cary at the Impact Tournament. This kid is a great athlete, can play the game and is a joy to watch. If I am not mistaken, he is going to Appy State to continue his baseball career. I look forward to hearing more about him in the future and hopefully I will get a chance to see him play again.

    The Kid Can Play

He is fun to watch - did you see him get to third on the triple standing up? He can fly...

Rose has reloaded...again. You all look tough to beat.

Here is hoping we see you again - LATER THIS YEAR !!
(Of course with our conference, that is going to be a tough road...)

I was there for the triple but I missed most of him rounding the bases because I blinked twice. Dang if he can't fly around the bases.

I could be wrong but I also thought Wood was a good 6-8 mph faster than he looked last May. He has a bright future too.

Wood was injured off and on throughout last year and probably was only about 70-75% for the state finals in May. He is back fully healthy now and that is probably the main reason he was throwing harder Saturday than in May.

Well that does explain it. I didn't realize he wasn't 100% last year. I guess that was our good fortune, particularly my son's who had to pitch against him in the finals. However you hate to see anyone injured. Even not 100%, he pitched well against us. I am glad he is healthy again.

Hahaha...I knew that would get you to respond. Actually Alex's long legs make him reach each base in 3 strides. But you know I try to keep him humble :saw:

Alex and TJ want to see you two race each other. 60 yards with a buffet at the finish line.
