Hats off to Mcdowell, they played a great game. That number 17 that pitched for them is a great competitor. The game was a good game but the DH for mcdowell showed his true colors when he elbowed AC's first baseman. Other than that play it was a awesome game.

#17 for McDowell is Joey Duncan. He is only a junior. McDowell played a great defensive game behind Joey too. The had no errors in the field. And a couple of timely hits and RBI's helped them to shake the last inning jinx that they had last year. Im not sure you could say thet the DH "showed his true colors". I think it was a young kid making a mistake when he was frustrated and full of emotion. Hopefully it was a one time incident and not "showing his true colors". Fifteen year-olds often make mistakes. It was equally in bad taste when the ADULT fans for Alexander would not let the incident go and continued to yell about it even after he was ejected.

I do remember Joey from the jv team last year. I loved watching how fired up he got. As for the DH situation, I do agree that the adult fans for AC would not let it go. But that game had a playoff kinda feeling. I just feel that he did make a bad decision.

One more thing. Joey allowed only 2 hits after coming in to pitch in the 3rd inning. Both were to Logan Chapman. A solo homer to left field and a triple off the right field fence. This kid CAN HIT!! Congratulations to him.

Just wondering who else do they have to pitch. I know that the kid that started was not the best but he was not to bad. I am just wondering
