    ...kid gets a basehit, runs through the "orange safety bag".
    Walks back to 1st, now paying attention to the instructions of her 1B coach, she ends up standing on the "orange bag".
    Is she safe or out?

    The Orange Bag Runners Bag Only !!!

    Now I'm not positive on this one ,but I think once you have run through the orange bag it becomes null, and you have to at least have contact with white bag !! You can be in contact with the orange bag also, but not orange alone !!

    Only on the orange bag? Out for not returning to the base. The orange bag is only valid on the run to or through, but not afterwards.

    She's out if the defensive team is smart enough to tag her while not on the white base.

    Technically, I suppose the umpire could call her out on the Look Back Rule, but I doubt that would happen.

    You guys nailed this one!

    The ump gave the runner some 10ish seconds to move to the white bag, and when she didn't......bam, out!
