    South Caldwell vs. East Burke scheduled for Friday was moved to tonight. Hopefully we can beat the rain!!

    East Burke 0 after 6

    Poarch had 13 K's and only gave up 1 hit.

    Not only did he have 13 K's but the plate umpire looked good calling them didn't he AnotherSpartanFan?

    Closer than score indicates

    In the 5th it's dead even, In the bottom of the inninng with two out, hard shot hit to left, leftfielder drops it, should have been the third out but all hell breaks loose after the error by the leftfielder. Then he (leftfielder) let's a routine flyball drop in for a hit, which resulted in a South 6 run inninng. East Burke should have been out of the inning with no runs scored. South would have eventually won the game but the game was closer than score indicates. East Burke starter did a pretty good job, no support in the 5th inning.

    i agree it was a great game for both teams, vanhorn(eb) did a great job on the mound..poarch thew good as well. saw some poor pitch selection by eb and the line drive dp to center was a huge rally killer for burke. i think ACR vs south will be a great match up, from what i hear acr can really swing the stick. great game..

    How about the foul ball that almost killed the on deck batter for eb.. any word on how he is doing, i think he stayed for the rest of the game.

    Looked good, Yes! Called balls and strikes good, Yes! Calling runner out for missing a base, not so good!!! You must have been getting bored back there. LOL

    take my advice from years of watching legion play sit somewhere that you cant see the plate you will enjoy the game alot more.
