    AC at ACR

Alexander Central beat ACR 3-0, Taylor Miller pitches a 3-hit shutout and Josh Fox was 2-2 with 3 rbi's. Miller has 2 complete games and 2 shutouts against two pretty good teams.

McDowell improves to 6-0 on the season...which leads up to what has now become a big game this Tuesday against Watauga in Marion. I know its early in the season but this is the biggest game for McDowell in several years.

6-0! Wow, BigDan, when was the last time you guys were 6-0? This is a big game against Watauga...you will certainly know where you stand after that one. I hope you have a huge turnout.

Braves, its been a while since McDowell started off this strong...maybe since the 2001-02 season? Maybe even longer than that...but regardless this is the best we have been in a while.

We lost to Burns by one run in the bottom of the 9th. Heartbreaker. we had 4 errors and failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities. But Watauga game is big.

Of the games I have seen so far this season, Huskins is an improved hitter over last year in terms of power. He's also being used more on the base paths this season compared to last. A good leadoff guy and good glove.

I play legion with him and i never hear anything from mcdowell other than scores. i hope they send some more pitching our way for legion this year. Tyler Hopkins got mound time last year and you can never have enough pitching.
