That's what I thought. I just to think there is a place that throw 84-85 consistently and do everything else right. Everyone doesn't throw 90. Velo gets inflated like 40 times.

I have a catcher that I would put up....

against these guys and I believe he would hold his own. I have seen Fish a couple of times and he is impressive. I have coached Gagnon with the Copperheads and he does have the body college coaches look for. Max is a very fine player and will be a fine college player.

I would put Trey Davis (Person) up and he would perform well. Trey just committed to Belmont Abbey and so far this season has thrown out 4 in 6 attempts against him. Trey is a player, or as Freddy might say, he is a BALLPLAYER!

In no way is this meant to disrespect any of these players mentioned, but I had to express my thoughts on Trey, especially when I have seen each of the ones I mentioned play firsthand.

As a former Coach of Fish, I have to say that he is one of the toughest, hardest working kids I have ever Coached and is as strong as an Ox! He has the drive to do what ever it takes to step up and win big ball games. He will definately be one to watch in the future! KEEP DIGGIN' BENJI!

My son was asked to play fall ball several years and he would be playing up a level (he was midget league age and this was little league). Ben Fish was one of the co-captains. He was the best player on the team and could have very easily treated my son as a distraction to buliding the team for the next spring or winning in the fall. Instead he ensured that my son was included and always had a partner in every drill and would frequently partner up with him. This particular coach let his team captians have input on certain items and Ben would make sure my son got a fair shake on playing time. Before that season, Ben did not know my son. In short because the team captain and best player accepted my son, everyone else did as well. This had nothing to do with winning or losing but everything to do with treating people the right way.

Ben Fish will be a huge asset to any team lucky enough to gain his services- in the dugout and on the field.
