    Ragsdale 12
    E Randolph 0 5 innings

another one hit shutout for the Tigers. (six shutouts, one a no hitter and five one hitters).

I missed the first inning when Ragsdale batted around scoring 8 on a bunch of walks, hit batters and wild pitches. Nick McBride reached on an error in the second, got moved to third and scored on a wild pitch. In the fourth Ben Fultz drove in three on a triple to right to end the scoring.

McBride got his third win of the season striking out eight in four innings. Kyle Brandenburg struck out three more closing the game in the fifth. Maness played just about everybody tonight.

    7-0, 2-0 with Friday @ Trinity.

MallardCreek beat West Meck 6-4 in a very good game. Mikal Hill pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 hits and 6 strike outs and giving up no earned runs. West Meck scored 4 runs in the bottom of the six on 1 hit and 3 errors to go ahead 4-3. Mallard Creek tied the game on a clutch 2 out hit by Brent Jones to score Mikal Hill and then Blaine Lewis and Trent Fullen followed with big doubles to plate the winning run and a big insurance run. Mallard Creek is 4-2 for the season. This was a big win for the second year program over a very good West Mecklenburg baseball team. Blaine Lewis, Trent Fullen and Rico Aponte had two hits for the Mavericks.

Well another tough loss for the Falcons, this will turn around soon for West, if they were getting blown out by these good teams, then they would need to be worried. I'll say they get their 1st win Friday against North Iredell. It's gut check time for the Falcons. Not time to press the panic button. Congrats to the East boys on the W.
