It is legal with NCAA if his daughter is not in high school yet.

That is not true. It is treated as a job and a college player (softball pitcher in this case) can teach high school age kids. A college coach is different, they can only teach kids in groups of 4 at the high school level. Got this from a very reliable College softball coach (Donna Papa).

In groups of four, it becomes a clinic, then it is legal

A college player can work one on one with a person at the high school age. A college coach needs to have at least 4 high school age people to be legal (hence a clinic).

My mistake. I misread it. Thought she was a pitching coach, not a player.

Don't look at it as a mistake. I am glad you posted it. At least I was able to learn something from it.

    Four...as earlier mentioned is

or when I went to Carolina for lessons was/is legal....coming directly from the know at the top.

I caught my daughter....high school level, and there was another player there with her friend catching her....total four...for one hour long lesson.

Don't know about now, but then we were able to split the cost between "two" paying for it. Much nicer on ole dad paying for half the hourly rate.

Also, have to add, with two pitchers throwing side by side and good instruction being taught, the pitchers intensity to throw good and hard increases.

Beverly is great with the girls and a quality lesson was contained afterward.

I dont know if as mentioned that having two pitchers work side by side is not the best way for kids to advance quickly, the two will invariable begin to compete with one another even if they dont know it.
We have had Daley(the ex-uncc pitching coach) come up and give these four person clinic's and the youngesters made great progress in that hour....
