Team/Player Profiles

College coaches..... When you are at a showcase event, do you visit the table with the team/profiles and pickup information? Teams have trifolds, flyers, booklets etc. What do you prefer, what info do you look for, what makes you pickup one over the all of the others?

I'm not a college coach, but you have a very valuable resource at your school. Talk to Terry Chapman. Racheal has played showcase ball and her mom is knowledgable. If not, maybe Guru, Fagala, etc. may be able to assist. Terry might could put you in touch with Allen Morris with the NC Sun Devils????

Parents

Have a couple parents assigned to each game and they should hand deliver tri-folds to college coaches! Tri-folds allow them to stick in pocket and do not keep things in their hands. Need to do a great deal of homework before tourneys or games to make sure the coaches come see you play, and players need to do their job as well.

 

We do that plus have a holder that we hang on the backstop to make them available to any coach that may be passing by and finds something they like in one of our girls. But the player and parents along with the coach or team college coordinator need to do 95% of the work before the team hits the field.
