    Aaron Meadows 7 inning shutout. Great pitching from Meadows. Home runs Aaron Meadows, Jake Beaver, otherwise Mooresville struggled at the plate tonight.

    NW Cabarrus made a couple of errors in inning 3 or 4 that cost them 2 runs.

    NW 3 hits, Little Seager 2-3.

    West Rowan in Wilmington!

    The Wilmington Ashley Spring Break Tourney has a good field. West Rowan has to take on New Hanover (3-6) on Monday with a possible 2nd round match-up against undefeated Wilmington Laney (11-0) or NEW 6 power Northern Nash. Other teams in the tourney are New Bern, Ashley, Butler, & Hoggard. Their is a live blog during the tourney:www.StarNewsVarsity.com if you want to know the scores.

    West Rowan 11 New Hanover 9

    I have absolutely no details, but I know West Rowan won 11-9.
    West Rowan now 3-6 overall.

    For all you West Rowan fans, they take on the undefeated Wilmington Laney team today at 4:30 in the Ashley Spring Break Tourney. This Laney team is tough!

    Northwest cabbarus 2 Lake Norman 6

    Lake Norman lefty Scottie Williams(2010) started on the hill going 5 innings and allowing 2 runs. he then turned it over to Ross Whitley(2009 Catawba) who finished the last 2 innings on no walks and 2 k's no runs.


    Nick keith(2010) was 2-2 with a walk.
    Joe Faist(2009) had a hit with 2 rbi.
    Ross Whitley(2009 Catawba) had 2 rbi.
    Eric Manser(2009) had a hit and a rbi.
    Tyler Lewis(2010) had an rbi.
    jordan farrel(2009 cvcc) had a hit.
    Kevin Gradert(2009) had 2 hits.



    Lake Norman now 10-1(7-0) Will host cross town rival Mooresville on Thursday night.

    the same team everyone was doubting because they got off to the slow start scores a big win on the road. I would not be surprised to see them get on a serious roll down the stretch.

    I knew all it would take is for West to win a game and they would get going, too much talent and expectations on that team to not produce. Way to go Falcons!
