    Myers Park 5 Hopewell 3

    Austin Campbell(2009) pitched a complete game 4 hitter at Myers Park Monday evening, while walking only one to get Myers Park back on winning ways. Myers Park had 8 hits lead by J.D. Ey(2009) 3-3, 3B and Tyler Powell(2011) 2-3. Myers Park's defense played well behind Campbell, committing only one error.

    Myers Park begins the second half of the SW4A season hosting Independence tonight and Weddington Friday night. Friday night MP and Weddington will complete a previously suspended game at 5:00 prior to the scheduled game at 7:00; MP is leading 4-2 in the fifth inning.

    Myers Park pounded out 13 hits in 5 innings behind the 3 hit pitching of Robert Balsley. Balsley struckout 8 and walked none to improve to 5-1, 4-0 in the SW4A conference. Myers Park's offense was led by Grant Fisher 3-4 HR 4 RBI, J.D. Ey 2-3 2B,3B and Brian Holberton 2-4 3B.

    Myers Park hosts Weddington Friday night.

    Holly Springs v. Garner

    Holly Springs beat Garner 8-1.

    Justin Manning got the win for Holly Springs. Went 6 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, 0 walks and 9 strikeouts.

    Garner falls to 7-7 and 3-3 in the Conference. Holly Springs is now 10-3 and 3-3 in the conference.

    Carson/Mooresville and all Kannapolis Intimidator Easter Classic games that were scheduled for Tues.April 14, were postponed (rain) and will be played today Wed.April 15. Same times.
