    Couldn't find a score on the West/N.Iredell game in today's Salisbury Post,,,,,,,, you could be right.

    Very reliable source told me 3-2 or 4-3 West Rowan lost.

    You are correct, just was told that North Iredell DID beat West Rowan last night 4-3.

    Baseball,,, funny game sometimes. Other times, not so funny.

    South Rowan 0 Lake Norman 10 f/5


    lefty Scottie Williams(2010) started on the hill for the wildcats going 4 innings while k's 8 and walking 0 i think. He was relieved by Lefty Tyler Lewis(2010) who threw an inning on 2 k's 1 walk.

    LKN:

    Kevin Gradert(2009) was 2-3 with 2 hr and 3 rbi
    Tyler Lewis(2010) was 2-2 with a hr and 3 rbi
    Nick Keith(2010) was 1-2 with 2 rbi

    Lake Norman now 12-1(9-0) will play West Iredell on Tuesday at home 7pm.

    West Rowan/ East Rowan game

    Wow, West really impressed tonight and made a statement that they are a team that when they want to, is a team to be reckoned with. West came out swinging the bats tonight and took advantage of 5 East Rowan errors. East just could not get much going offensively tonight against Garrett White and Randy Shepherd. East starter Preston Troutman had to come out of the game with leg cramps and reliever Cody Laws was knocked around pretty good. Hernan Bautista and Brantley Horton hit two bombs out to left for WR. West squares their NPC record at 4-4 and East drops to 7-2, two games back of LKN.

    Early reg.season losses may cost West in standings, but no question they made a statement tonite that they can beat anyone. West completely outplayed East in every phase of the game. I thought it was a great job of coaching by David Wright starting out the slow junk pitcher, and bringing in the heat (Shepherd) at first sign of trouble. West just did everything right this night, congrats to the Falcons.
