My DD is ready. She is completely rehabbed from her ACL from last year and is hitting as a freshaman on her Varsity SB team. My way of thinking is to challenge her against the best possible pitching this season and let her continue to grow. Do I put her on a lower level ASA "A" type team so she can experience and play AGAINST all the top level pitching, or put her on a stacked team winning trophies every weekend? What would you do?

ALWAYS play at the highest level of competition at which your daughter can enjoy some level of personal success at the plate and in the field.

I know I'm walking a fine line here, because my DD does not always measure her success by wins and losses. She measures success much of the time by what she did today she did not do yesterday, and against what level of competition. She finds that more of a challenge. I guess in a way I've already answered my own question. Thanks.

I AGREE . ENJOYING THE SPORT AND FRIENDSHIPS MAKES A BIG IMPACT ON WHY ALOT OF GIRLS STILL PLAY THROUGHTOUT THE SUMMERS. AS LONG AS SHE STILL BENEFITS AND GROWS AS A PLAYER , LET HER HAVE SOME FUN.

    Opt 1 / Opt 2 ???

Opt 1 -- this option teaches the aspects of the next level in offense and defense, and how to play the game !!

Opt 2--- this option teaches you how to dust more !!!
