    He has been a bright spot in a pretty dismal season for the Bulldogs. There's a lot of "upside" for this kid!

    Congrats to Ryan! The kid is a stud. The most modest guy ever, I didn't even know he was pitcher of the week until I looked on here, no one said anything about it? Steer has been mowing too! Both having very good seasons, wish they could pass some of that to me!

    Congrats Ryan. Help is on the way next season. Tyler Coyle should be a strong addition.

    For those interested... UNCA will be playing Florida State today at 4:00pm and it is being televised on one of the Fla. sports channels on Directv... not sure what other "carriers" may have it as either a live showing or tape delay. Someone told me that Time Warner was showing it Friday.

    Everyone think positive thoughts, the G-man is starting on the bump!

    Not the Gman's best outing, but the Bulldogs gave the Seminoles all they wanted in the extra innings 11-10 loss. Asheville had their chance to take the win but just couldn't get that 3rd out when they needed it.

    Gave the Noles all they wanted and sent 3 sophomores and a freshman to the hill in those 11 innings. UNC-A plays a very tough schedule and the young players are having to play through things they are not used to and it will only make them better and stronger over the next few years. I hope I see a conference run and NCAA regional bid in the near future because they have the talent to do so.
