    Good for her!

You can't judge the quality of a player simply by whether or not their school is 2A or 4A.....judge the player by the player! Is she giving 100+% all the time or does she lay off when playing a less competitive team? The ones the coaches want are the ones who have the drive, give it their all and have a good attitude no matter whether they're winning or losing.

Good decision for Al! My daughter made the same one and she loves the game! But she decided her education (pre-med) comes first and that if it fits her academic schedule, she can always play intramural softball. Hard decision for her but I think she's comfortable with it.

Some of Mt. Pleasant's scores from this year 13 to 1, 19 to 4, 18 to 0, 18 to 1, 22 to 0, 19 to 0, 16 to 0. Yes, I agree you have a few weak teams in your conference. Hmmmm, playing fierce competition like that will definitely run those batting stats up in the .700's pretty quick.

    NeverMind!!

You see those type of scores all the time from the 3A and 4 A schools too, when they play the weaker teams in their conference. We also run ruled a few of the competitive teams in our conference this year too but I guess it doesnt count since they were 2A.....

Hey NB I guess you are right and know it all.......... Aint gonna try to convince you of anything otherwise. Just stating my opinion as the parent of a player on a VERY good 2A softball team. Maybe you should come watch us play sometime.

I agree 100% with you Robert. Mt. Pleasant has a very good team with some talented young women. And as a proud parent of one of these ladies, It's fustrating to hear someone with the opinion that a 1A or 2A school cannot compete or has less talent than higher classifications. Over the years we have played all classifications and have fared pretty well, that is for just a little 2A school that evidently plays weak competition....all classes have those teams that are weaker. So do not take away from what these girls accomplish because there's not a 3 or 4 beside the A. Would invite you to some summer tournaments and see these girls compete against other girls from all clssifications and try to pick out the 1A and 2A players.

    Sorry....

Either you are saying stuff to get a reaction or you believe all of us should  to you...either way...

I will say it again, you are judging kids by their zip code.

    Bad mistake.
