What is your earliest memory of playing baseball?
Teeball--I knew then that I loved playing this game.

When did you start playing travel baseball?
When I was 10 years old, at 12 my team the Carolina Spartans won the state aau championship.

What do you do the night before a game?
I hit a couple of buckets off the tee in my cage in the backyard.

Who is your baseball hero?
Manny Ramirez

What was your showcase experience like?
I love playing showcase ball especially going to the big tournaments like East Cobb and Jupiter

What has been your most memorable game?
Hitting a homerun in the Futures game and winning the conference championship my freshmen year.

What are your future plans in baseball?
Get drafted, enjoy my career at NC State

Are you dating and what does she think of baseball?
Yes, She supports me and the game.

Who are your parents and siblings?
Doug and Patricia, dad and mom, brother is Matthew, he pitched at UNCP

What music do you listen to?
All kinds

What is your favorite movies?
300- rudy

Who has influenced you the most in your career?
My dad

What was your recruiting experience like?
It was awesome, I was blessed enough to be recruited by my life long favorite school NC State.

What Stretchy knows: Dylan's brother Matt was a stud pitcher for the Stretchlon Stars the year they won the 13u State Games in 2001. Dylan played on the senior Stars team when he was only a freshman. His Mom is wonderful and his Dad is a hoot.

Dylan and Matt are great young men. Dylan has worked his butt off for a while now and it's great to see it pay off for him. He swings a sweet bat from the left side and flat out gets it done in the outfield. I've enjoyed throwing many a pitch to him over the years. Best of luck to you at State young man.
