Pookie Caldwell, Charlotte Christian 09, will finish rehab soon. He looks strong and will throw from the mound next week. Is planning to pitch for the Diamond Devils again this summer. He has a spot secured with Spartanburg Methodist for the fall. Call Coach Simmons at CCS

Robert McKinney. He is a junior and can bring the heat. He also has a nast curve and chang-up. He has gotten several offers this year from colleges. He will be throwing this friday against West Rowan.

    David Coffey - Ragsdale

this year David is 8-1 with a 0.78 ERA. He's only given up 8 runs total all year, 5 earned in 45 innings pitched. He has 45 Ks with only 9 walks. 22 hits against him with only two extra base hits (2 doubles). A no hitter under his belt this year (against Northern Nash). I believe David has only lost three games in his high school career.

As far as I know he has not signed to play anywhere. By all accounts he is a top of his class student so he may be going somewhere on an academic scholarship.
