    That school is a beautiful place. The Athletic facilities are great. That may be why alot of student athletes transferred there. I was the Athletic Director at Bartlett Yancey when Northern Guilford came on the scene, and with the coaches they were hiring, especially basketball, a kid who has some talent would want to go there and play and get seen. The Lawson kid was a stud in MIddle School, but he did not like or even want to play for the coach at BY.

    Update

    "In addition to basketball, the school's wrestling, baseball, and JV softball team also had to forfeit games. The NGHS athletic program has been placed on one year probation."

    Report by WMFY News 2 this evening. That is pretty wide spread. More so than first thought. Also, they had to give up gates for states and each sport fined $250..

    In all seriousness, the situation up there was wide spread. They are still investigating football. That will come out later. Baseball had to forfeit all their games. Basketball had to give state championship back. Superintendent says he is not done. Says he will look at other schools and clean up Guilford County athletics.

    My thoughts exactly, I am sure he is not going to stop with that school, anyone that has transfers better hope they are clean.

    Puts some questions out there for many programs at different schools. You can bet some are sleeping restless tonight and the NCHSAA will be look a lot harder.

    Bigger question: Who is next?

    Wow...if they started that probe state-wide
    there would be a lot of unemployed staff members when it was all said and done.
