18U Qualifier

    18U ASA Qualifier

    Where are the qualifer tournaments being held at this year for 18U. Rick can you help? Thanks.

    There is an 18U National Qualifier in Woodstock, GA on June 12,13,14. Don't believe there are any being held in VA., NC., or SC this year.

    Rick, can you confirm?

    Where are the qualifers that a team has to play in to play in the ASAState?

    Exemption

    We, ASA, have agreed to allow an exemption for 16 and 18 teams as they may or may not have an opportunity to play in a sanctioned tournament prior to the state, due to HS play restrictions and/or graduation conflicts. We have agreed to allow any ASA play to qualify you for our ASA states. That means if you play an ASA sanctioned event in any state, ie, NC, SC, VA, you are qualified for the NC ASA State.
    The 18U qualifiers for our region are in Woodstock, GA, June 12-14 and Greenville, SC June 26-28 which is the same dates as our state.

    Rick,I'm still not clear on this, does 18U have to play in a tournament before the state or not? Thanks!

    16U and 18U are exempt from this requirement.
