Old Angels Coach

I didn't really know Mr. Beck, except on this board. However, I can say that he was a fine father, just by the way his son carries himself on and off the field. my condolesences to the Beck family

 

I just got home from the Celebration of Life service for Keith. If you didn't already know how many lives he had touched, you sure could see by the amount of people that came to celebrate his life. Talking to the pastor he said " They estimated about 650 people were there. " Listening to the people he worked with, friends like Plate Dad, ballplayers that had been on the Angels team, and players that He coached in Little League 15 to 20 years ago talk about how he touched their lives you knew he had touched a lot of different people. I think the best thing that came across from what the ballplayers said was not how he had helped them to learn the game, but was how he had helped them with life off the field. Keith, you will be missed by a lot of people and our prayers are with your family.

 

Tanner's got the ball tonight. He's on the mound for Parkland as they travel to East Rowan. Tanner knows that Keith will be with him while he's out there.
