    6:10pm, no new news for the 2A West yet. We know we play CD Owen away, but do not know what day or time. Nice, considering we are almost 3 hours away. Our coach told our girls Friday to bring their uniforms "just in case we play". I would like to plan a little better than the day of.

    How can it not be posted till tomarrow? Some teams are playing tomarrow. Pretty poor work but then remember who is in charge of it! NCHSAA

    Why?

    Would some schools be playing tomorrow? I didn't think they started til tuesday May 19.

    My understanding is that the first round games must be complete by Tuesday

    I think the way it is supposed to be is that the games have to be played by Tue. 19th. As I stated earlier with the weather this year you better plan on starting as soon as you can. Ones playing Monday are giving themselves 1 more day to get the games in. Smart! But with the nchsaa dragging their feet like they are it makes it hard

    It's soooo sad...

    Well... I am giving up on it.... no more checking back in tonight... I am so frustrated with the NCHSAA.... the one thing that keeps playing over and over in my mind is "sorry"... it's just plain sorry of them... not being prepared and posting the brackets sooner.... ok, I understand a few teams played yesterday, but really, how many teams does that impact... you know 90% of the bracket without those games... and then take a couple of hours and work them in and the wild cards and POOFFFFF there you go.... completed brackets... really it ain't rocket science....
    AND if you do run into a few problems or snags... at least have the common decency to update the NCHSAA site and give people an idea of WHEN to expect the brackets... "Sorry due to unavoidable circumstances, the completed brackets will not be posted until Monday at 8 am" or something like that.... UHHHHHH.... just plain sorr-e-ness!!!!!!
    ok, I feel a little better...
