    freshman pitcher on jv team is pulled up to pitch for varsity in 6 games to weak teams. Does she letter?

    Definitely. We did the same thing and our JV pitcher will definitely letter.

    What is the nuber of Varsity games a underclassman has to play in before lettering? Must they start each game they are ask to play up in for it to count?

    well on my DD school team the girls just have to be a part of the team. they don't have to play cause the coach pulls up like 5 freshman every year for states and they letter every single time but they never get to play.

    At my daughters school you have to start half of the total games in order to letter.

    Each school has its own policy toward lettering, some have you to play in as little as four games, not starting, others are much more demanding suchas the above post where you have to start half of the scheduled games.
    So it just depends own your local school..
    Some letter if you walk past the water fouir times...:mdrbig::mdrbig::mdrbig:

    Burke County...Cavalier Country!!
    In some schools, you only have to be on the varsity roster for 6 games to letter.
