Charles Wolfe to Wingate

    Sanderson High School's Pitcher/1st Baseman Charles Wolfe (2009) will be playing baseball at Wingate University this coming fall.
    I want to congratulate Charles and his family (Mary & Chuck) on this great moment in their lives.
    Charles and my son have been playing baseball on the same teams since they were 10 years old. I have had a lot of time to watch Charles grow, he now stands 6'5. Also in baseball!!!!
    I just wanted to say WAY TO GO CHARLES!!!

    Congrats From Coach Evans...

    Great decision Charles!! I am proud of you! I had the opportunity to watch Charles when he played for Freddy Suggs when he was with the Copperheads! Outstanding player and young man!!

    Congrats to the big man

    Great news and we are so proud of you Charles. We have throughly enjoyed watching you on the mound during your high school career. I hope they let you keep your bat as it would be a shame if you don't get a chance to swing the bat - 6'6" of pure baseball power.

    We see that UNCP plays Wingate so we will get a chance to see you continue your career. The Bulldogs are getting a quality young man and a great student who should be able to contribute from the get go.

    Congratulations to Chuck and Mary as well.
