OK, we had a team this past weekend that switched pitchers around 8 or 9 times in 1 game. Does anyone know the ruling on this, the only thing I found was that only the starting pitcher can come back in, in the same inning. Talked to the ump and he said they could pitch all 4 pitchers every inning if they wanted!!

As long as the pitcher stays in the game they can come to the mound anytime a coach wishes...this is just my opinion.

What were you playing in? (High School, ASA,NSA)

In High School ball that is a correct statement by the ump. I had a ump just read it from the rule book.

    Pitching Changes

As long as all of the pitchers are eligable to play in the game, and still have their re-entry capabilities, they may return to the circle as much as the coach desires. But if one of the pitchers return to the circle in the same inning, she is not afforded any warmup pitches.

    Pitching

Saw a D1 college team pitch a different pitcher to every batter, switched defense positions between ,rf,cf,p.No problem as long as they are in the game.No warm ups.
