BATTLE OF THE BORDER SHOWCASE JUNE 22ND

Reminder for all Class of 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009 softball players that have a goal of playing college softball.

The Battle of the Border Talent Showcase set for June 22nd at Providence High School is set to be one of the top showcases in the area. Strong group of college coaches from each level of college softball have indicated they will be in town for the showcase and the 2 softball showcase games the next day at Winthrop.

This is a great opportunity for only $95 to participate in the talent showcase and display your skills for the college coaches. We have worked very hard on the showcase to deliver a quality product for the community and I hope you will attend. This is open to players in NC, SC, VA and GA.

A lot of very talented softball supporters in the area are involved in the showcase. I can promise you for this event, the politics of youth sports will be left at the door and the complete focus will be on showing the talent in the area.

why middle of the week?

 

Travel tournaments on the weekends. He's doing it the right way.

We chose weekdays to provide the least amount of conflict to summer ball. Our entire event, the 6 games for baseball and softball and the 2 talent showcases are all designed to celebrate successful travel ball and showcase players.

We are very committed to both baseball and softball and chose to not force anyone to have to make a choice between two things they wanted to do.

We may not get this exactly right, but we have a long range commitment to this event and my philosophy is to work as hard as you can on event # 1 and then take what you learned from that to make event # 2 even better.

I am so appreciative of all the good baseball and softball folks in the area that have helped provide direction.

I can't believe that 3 weeks from today, we will have the baseball events and one week later, softball.
