The Cap 7 tournament was not meant to prepare anyone for the State playoffs. It was meant to be a tournament in and of itself. I'm pretty sure if the other teams had known it would be treated the way it was it would never have been formed.

Why do you think that playing in the tournament would not have helped? Are you saying that your practices prepared you better than competition in the conference? I don't believe that. There were some teams wanting to test WFR. Where is the spirit of competition? I know the players have it.

....I'm over the fact that your post is coming from someone who has no clue.
How weird would be if your team actually did not play in the Cap 7 tournament?
    Why not just not play?
Could it be possible that the very ploy engaged by WFR might come back to haunt them? Did it ever occur to you JB youngster, that there might be rules against this type of measure and could actually boot a team out of state play?

No dog in the hunt JB.

I wish WFR all the best and will be following ya'll hopefully a long way.

    Welcome to TBR!

    Who Cares what you think

If you had a clue what you were talking about then, I guess you would get an explanation. We do not care if you respect us or not. The program has earned all the respect it needs. Sometimes coaches make decisions that people will not like. So be it, it is our decision to make, and for the betterment of our team. I think the Cap 7 Tournamnet went of just fine no matter who we played, ask Leesville. Althought, you better not ask Wakefeild.

    ote=marlinfan1;2388686].....do what?!!!!
That move is just plain and simple a slap in the face to the conference and the other teams, and the kids who play, and give their time, win or lose.
If you wanted to play the JV kids then why did you not put them in during the regular season?
I have NO respect what-so-ever for folks pulling BS like this....AND DAMN, its the first Cap 7 tourn. ever!
WFR coaches have dropped the ball on this one.

Glad you said it cheeze! Not sure how many would admit it (jk) but there are plenty of folks who care what others, including the fishman, think.

[/quote]...welcome to TBR dkinsman. You're right, who cares what I think.
As for an explanation given via WFR, well lets just say one has been introduced.
Look DK, just reading your post and your lack of spellcheck leads me to think that you're probably one of the WFR players and when you read a couple of opinions that did not fit your way of thinking, then you bowed up and stood your ground.
    I respect that.
I also have all do respect for WFR and certainly the kids and how they/you guys play.

The Fishman not having a clue?
    I've heard that before!

.....thats a good one! Look D, if you're in a program that rocks year after year, and the coaches of that program manage to keep everybody happy, which BTW, is a nice problem to have, then you coach have to understand that all of the other teams want to beat you. The WFR program has raised the bar in the Cap 7.
Don't lower it for any reason.
