    The Lake Norman Copperheads will play there home opener at Hopewell High School tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7:00. Admission will be free. I have attached a roster. There are many guys on this team that have been talked about on this board in the past. Hope to see some of you there.

    This will be fun. It's relaxing, the weather will be great, really good baseball...and it's a one time free admission. I will be there.

    Glad to see more local players on this roster every year. It is a testament to the growth in baseball talent in our area. Best of luck to Derrick and the Copperheads.

    Just wanted to let you all know that this is a solid team with alot of great players! Went and watch them take apart the Asheville Redbirds on Monday night by a score of like 17-5. These kids can swing it, don't know how many doubles they wound up with but quite a few, and I believe one of the Faggart brothers hit a 3 run missile out to RCF. Pitchers have the ability to dominate!

    I really enjoyed watching them play, if you get a chance you should go see them.
