    Interesting Post?

There's probably 10-12 4A teams that think they're having a "Yeah, Baby" year, too.....don't you think????

Might we call this one, "The Curse of the Lam-Bino?"

Good Luck, ND! We'll all know soon enough.

10-12 think so, but in west 4A this year, it will be a race between North Davidson and Alexander Central with Butler fully capable of an upset. ND pitching is probably the best in the state with juniors Hannah Alexander and Tess Swing. AC's Chelsea Wilkinson is good, but not overpowering and is a freshman. We'll see who is able to peak at the right time. This year nothing is totally predictable.

    Kool-Aid, anyone?

Boy, I wish I had some of what Coach Sherrill and Coach Lambros put in the kool-aid in Alexander and Davidson counties, respectively. You western NC'ers flat out have tunnel vision, don't ya think?

No doubt ND & AC have fantastic ball teams....and should contend to get to Walnut Creek....but, haven't we left a few teams out, there, BetterBatter???

How about NMeck? Providence? Butler (you "lightly" mentioned them)? The JM Robinson team is interesting to me, too. Anybody from the East? Apex? Middle Creek? Fuquay Varina? Ashley? Laney? Scotland County, perhaps?

Any of these teams are an injury away, an error away, a bad umpire call away, a bad outing away, from not making it to The Creek.......I love the UNDERDOGS, and can't wait to see who's left standing at the Final Four!!!

Good Luck to all teams.....the "home-stretch" is upon us!!!

    ND the real deal

Take it from first hand experience. ND not only has very good pitching, they don't have a weak spot in their lineup offensively. They hit well 1 through 9 and even the big girls run really well. Not to mention those speed demons at the top of their lineup. They are probably the strongest HS team I have seen in a awhile. Not taking anything away from AC, Butler, or anyone else. Just saying what I saw this past weekend was very impressive.

There are STILL 3 teams that say, "NO"......gonna be an exciting series in Raleigh this weekend! Good Luck to ALL teams!

(I just hope the umpires are quality and don't influence the game in a negative way. The championships should be decided by the players!)
