    After a long and valiant fight with leukemia East Surry Senior catcher Paige Honeycutt's mother Ann passed away last night after the Lady Cards won their State Championship. Paige, Brooke, and Breck you are all in our prayers. Your family has been an inspiration to our family and the whole community this year. We love all of you and will continue to have you in our thoughts and prayers.

    This is one of the finest ladies I have every met and the love she showed for her family is something we all could learn from. I pray for all those close to the East Surry team and the family of Ann may God bless you in this time of need.

    very hard to put into words anything that can alleviate the pain that her family must be experiencing. We will be praying for you and hope you gain some peace.

    Praying for the Honeycutts

    Our hearts are sadden by the news of Ann. We are praying for Paige, Brooke and Breck. God's strenght will help you through your time of sorrow. If there's anything we can do, please call on us. Paige is such a great girl and talent on the McHone/Cards team.
