On the same note - I saw the one Miami Lady Canes team playing the Palm Beach Gators and another Miami Lady Canes team playing the Miami Wildcats - so it's all around the board that these brackets could have been better organized so that teams are not playing the same teams they see all year long!

Every team but one we played in the bracket play was NC team and in fact had the games gone in a NC team's way, we could have played a NC team almost every game to championship. Our two pool games against Seminole Gold and Sarasota Heat were rained out or at least we would have had a great pool schedule.
We lost last night around 11pm to the Pembroke Pines Thunder, a very good hitting team, one of best with the bat, we have ever faced. We played three games at two complexes back to back to back after playing an 8am game in morning. I am sure other teams had similar experience but our kids just wore down in 95+ degree heat and no food, haha! No excuses being made here as you deal with the cards you are dealt and PPT was a very quality team.
Blues finish in top 10! Hats off to Catawba Valley Storm, they played well and gave us a great game last night before Thunder game! Their girls play hard and never give up. Shane has a good bunch! :wacky:
