    The 16u Carolina Comets defeated the Pitt County Rockets to win the NC NSA State Championship today in Rock Hill SC. The Comets went undefeated in the tournament.

    Margin of Victory

    What was most impressive about the 16u Carolina Comets victory in the North Carolina NSA State Tournament was the combined margin of victory. For the 7 total games (including 2 pool games), they scored a remarkable 43 runs vs. only 3 runs allowed. They looked, Acted, Played and Won like Champions!!!

    Congrats 16u Comets you deserve it and it couldn't have happen to a better group of girls. Every single player on the team played all weekend long. Ashley you are wonderful with these young ladies and a great role model, you coach with class. All the young ladies really love playing for you.

    ....isn't Pitt County in the east?
    I read somewhere that the East talent has gone "south".
    Pitt Co., # 2 in the NSA states must have broken the Duke mold!
