    Ball and chain has decided to let me off the "honey do list" and I am going to watch some games at Nivens - especially Dawgfans QueenCity Rockers, and my girls on the Carolina Quake team. anyone else??

    i'm easy to find, fat guy, mustache, grey hair from coaching softball for many years.....and oh yeah, tbr hat and shirt. .....will bring some tbr softball shirts and hats to give away, ya just have to find me.

    naw man, that food was excellent, some of the best bbq i have ever had. well, at least ya know what i look like now in work garb....ya all look for me this weekend, i have some shirts to give away........

    We had a great time this weekend at Nivens. Nice park, hotter than blue blazes, lol but that Italian ice was out of this world. Was great meeting Cheese, nice guy! Our team (Tanel Twisters 16u) took third, not bad for our second tourny together. Have to say this...Carolina Blues16u is an outstanding group of ladies with terrific sportsmanship. Was a pleasure playing you guys.

    yeah, it was hot, hot, hot....i only stayed for a couple of games, watched the twisters, quake, heartbreakers, blues, queencity rockers...saw some old members, and met some new ones. great people. watched some of my hs kids play and glad they are....

    Thank you for that comment...daughter(#16) plays on that team. I didn't make it there this weekend, but she told me she had a great time and that your coach on first is outstanding! Gave her high fives for the grand slam she hit! Now that's sportmanship!!!

    We are from Burke County as well as McDowell and we have a girl from Owen. Your daughter is an awesome player. My DD was on the mound when yours got the grand slam. It bruised her ego a tad but she said it couldn't have happened to a better player. You have to appreciate a good hit, even if it is your opponent.
