    HAVE LOVED THE GAME ALL MY LIFE!!!

    From the time I coulf walk I have liked the game whether it be baseball or softball!! Just getting to go to the field and smelling the fresh cut grass,hearing the crack of the bat and the smell of the leather of a glove. I have enjoyed watching my daughter from age 4 to now learn to play the game. I also love the fact that I have so many more daughters on other teams that still come up to get a hug from MAMA Sandra!!! I love Julie's brownies and all the coaches that have helped Sam become an excellant ballplayer. There are just too many wonderful things about the game to list. I just like being a part of the whole Softball Family!!!:REDanceBanana008:

    Seeing that even though teams are rivals, when the game is over the girls can laugh and hang out with each other; even if they don't wear the same uniform.

    my favorite thing is working with the children of my players from our first team. its wonderful to meet and teach my second generation.

    My favorite thing about softball is that feeling you get after you've played 3 or 4 games on a 95 degree Saturday and you're sweaty, dirty, sore, and all out exhausted, then you go play one more game at 8:00 and win so you can come back on Sunday to do it again. That, plus the relationships you build with teammates, parents, and coaches is just something that no other sport, no other anything, can give you.

    For the love of the game...

    Softball is just one of those things that I don't think I could live without. It's taught me a lot about myself and what I am capable of doing if I putmy mind to it. I started playing because my dad loved it and through his love of the game I became a lover and a fan for life. Not only did I meet some amazing people but they helped coach me and teach me and I learned that the game is something I'm good at and want to do with my life. I am blessed to be given this gift and hope it will take me far.

    I also love stepping in the batters box and daring the pitcher to throw me that pitch and feeling part of the team, knowing I can make something happen. Or even making that diving stop in the hole and still having enough time and sense to throw the runner out...nothing better than that! :)

    The smell of dirt and chalk in the morning.... it smells like a game getting ready to be played.
