Does anyone know who is traveling to Rowan for the Jr. Legion tonight?? It's either Asheboro or W-S Green and no one seems to know.

Just found out the Jrs. game is being moved to RJ Reynolds - we must be playing W-S.

Game 2 of Rowan vs. Stanly has been postponed. I guess they got more rain down in Albemarle than we did in Salisbury. The decesion seemed a little too quick to me, but I do not know what the field looks like down there. Try again Friday I guess.

west boy, you gotta remember not everybody plays at Newman Park haha

Anyways, I was down in Kannapolis today and it was worse there than in Rowan County, so it could have been that way down in Albemarle too

Yeah I know, I think they got more rain than we did apparently. It just seemed they made a decision real quick.

We got about 2 inches of rain at the house, so it was welcome. However, the ground had to be dry and should soak this rain right up, because we haven't gotten any rain whatsoever in 3 weeks, so yes (to me) it DID seem awful early to call these games before 5pm. And in Mooresville's case, it almost counts as 1/2 win for them,,, it certainly puts the squeeze on South Rowan now, not only does South have more pressure to get back in the series, but they have to hope to get this round in during the allotted days,,,, otherwise the commish can reduce it to best of 3, or your looking at a doubleheader. Rainout tonight definitely favors Mooresville.

In Stanly's case, I understand, for them to beat Rowan will be an upset, at least by waiting until tomorrow night when they may have clear skies, at least they get a great gate, compared to the #'s of folks who would've possibly stayed at home tonight. Teams HAVE to make $$$ in order to survive also.

tj, the biggest thing this does for Mooresville is get Lomo a day of rest. If this thing goes 5, he could pitch game 5 on a full 4 days rest. I've heard from some people that the game at Mooresville could have been played if a lot of work would have been done, but I can definitely understand why they would want the rainout from a economic and strategic standpoint.

    West Forsyth 3 -- 7 innings

Kevin Sanders hit a bases loaded walk off two rbi single in the seventh to end this game at 11:30 tonight. Games was delayed two hours in the fourth, first due to lights going out then waiting out the rain. I was going to leave at 11:30 no matter the score but Kevin made sure I saw the final.

Clint Ingram pitched six innings of two run ball ( Andre McCoy had both RBIs on two singles) and Bo Rein gave up a run in the seventh but got out of a bases loaded jam. Ingram pitched well both before and after the rain delay. Justin Lassiter had a solo HR for the Hi-Toms. Matt Dillon had the bat tonight going 4-4 ( 3 doubles and a triple) and drove in I believe six runs.

Hopefully High Point can close it out tomorrow @ West.
