2009 fall tryouts

Are you looking for a high caliber team that can give you exposure to college coaches in many of the larger regional and national tournaments? Team TFS 18U is seeking players that are 2010 or 2011 grads to join the team for the remainder of the summer season and for the fall. Coach Powell has both 18U and NCAA Division I collegiate level coaching experience. Team TFS is sponsored by Coach Michael Bastian, a former Olympic Softball Team coach and International Softball Federation clinician. Coach Bastian comes to North Carolina to work with Team TFS players throughout the year. Team TFS is part of The Fastpitch School and has teams in Texas, Ohio, California, and Canada. Practices facilities are located in both the Triad and in the Triangle to accommodate players from all areas of the state. All Team TFS alumni that have wanted to have gone on to play collegiate softball. Piedmont Storm will hold tryouts on Aug. 2nd, 3rd, and 6th at East Middle School in Statesville, NC

Aug. 2nd will begin at 2pm
Aug. 3rd and 6th will begin at 6pm

We will play about 4 to 5 more 12U tournaments and 4 to 5 14U tournaments before closing out the year.

Carolina Ice Open Tryouts

The newly formed Carolina Ice announces open tryouts for the fall and spring seasons. We will be playing 5 to 6 tournaments this fall with some being 12u tournaments and later in the fall we will play a few 14u tournaments to get ready for the spring season of 2010 in 14u. We are looking for dedicated and committed TEAM players that are willing to work hard. All positions are open. We will be practicing a couple times a week in the Lewisville/Pfafftown/tobaccoville area.
Once the team is selected we WILL NOT shop for players, and expect the same loyalty.
Tryouts will be at East Bend Elementary School on hwy 67
July 9th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

16U/HS Looking

My DD is moving up to 16U. She is going into her third year of TB. Has one year varsity letter. 94 birthdate. She has played for the Fuquay Bombs and the NC Dominators 14U's. She has guest played this season with the Carolina Stingerz 94, NC Challengers 14U, East Wake Spirits 14U (last weekend at the Cardinal Showcase at Walnut Creek), and this coming weekend in Nashville with the Crystal Coast Thunder 14U. She plays anywhere in the outfield and 1st base. Right handed contact hitter. Her hitting instructor since 2007 is Coach Charlie Dobbins. She also works with Coach Janelle Breneman at UNC. Has a strength and conditioning coach. Going to the Advanced Skiils Camp at UNC July 14th-17th. She is very dedicated and works to always improve her game. We are in Wake County. 12U and 14U Waves Tryouts

We are based in Chesapeake, Virginia, but we are close to NC, which is a short ride up 168 from Camden County! So if any of you Carolina girls are interested, we'd love to have ya!!!

Tryouts will be the same time/date for our 12U as our 14U tryouts at Atlantic Shores Christian School, 1217 Centerville Turnpike, Saturday, August 8th from 3 to 6 PM, Monday, August 10th & Tuesday, the 11th from 6 to 8 PM. The softball field is located to the left, behind the school. Please bring your child's birth certificate and proof of medical insurance to the tryout. NC CHALLENGERS 16U Tryouts

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] Raleigh, NC – The North Carolina Challengers have announced tryouts for their fall 2009 16U team on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at South Garner Park, Garner, NC. Tryout time will be from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The 2009-2010 team will be coached by Adam Renzi, Patrick Burt and Alton Gower. This 16U team will play highly competitive "A" level tournaments mixed with showcase events. At present we are in search of players with 1993 or 1994 birth years that desire to play softball at its highest level.

All players interested in trying out are encouraged to pre-register for tryouts by emailing Adam Renzi at [email protected] with the following contact information: player name, parent name, parent cell phone, email address, player birth year, and the age group for which you wish to try out. All players that pre-register by August 1st will be guaranteed a free tryout t-shirt, so please specify your shirt size when sending your contact information.

The North Carolina Challengers, based out of Raleigh, NC, have been in existence since the 1990’s and strive to develop teams that can play at the highest of levels in North Carolina, the Southeast, and across the country. We are looking for committed families with team first attitudes towards developing their daughter’s skill set in the game of fastpitch softball. NC Challengers teams are focused on having fun, "teaching", fundamentals, team play, and being competitive with the top teams in North Carolina, the Southeast, and the country.

Looking for a 14U/16U pitcher

The Mallard Creek Tar Heels are looking for a pitcher. She will get LOTS of innings. Will move to 16U this Fall. Prefer a 1994 birthdate, but 1995 or 1993 also OK.
