    Just wanted to say thanks too. Having the bracket here on the board will be nice. I don't know all the names of the teams going yet, but perhaps as that becomes available, you can go back and edit them into the slots.

    Thanks again for putting up the bracket.

    I'm updating the pairing as the seeds become available...they should be updated as of today...only Areas left are 1 & 3....RM has a 2-0 series lead over Cary in a best of 5 and Rowan and Mooresville start their Area 3 finals tonight(2 of 3)

    Rocky Mount sweeps Cary winning tonight at home 8-5

    Does anyone know how the host team Pitt COunty Post 39 did this season? Really didnt keep up with them this year? What kind of team are they? and who do they have?

    Pitt County Post 39

    With several of the Rose players opting for other summer plans, Post 39 struggled mightily this year. They finished 6-11 and won their only conference game on the last day of the season to slip into the playoffs. They were swept in the first round by Rocky Mount, twice losing by 10 runs.

    Rocky Mount has a record of 20-4. They were 8-2 in regular season and 12-2 in playoffs. Hope this roll continues deep into the State Tourney. Good Luck.

    I just saw in the Gaston Gazette that Sunday's games would be played at 3 and 7 with 2 games at ECU and 2 games at Greenville Rose HS. Anybody know what the reasoning behind the schedule change is?

    Overall records are now included in the brackets above,,, and currently Rowan County is 26-6 and Mooresville 18-11, after Game 1 of their Area Finals series.
