    Anyone heard how the NC teams are doing up near Washington, DC? I believe the Cardinals, Triangle lightning and comets are competing.

    The Comets, doing good so far.
    We finished as a #1 seed from our pool play yesterday.
    Pool Play
    Game 1, Comets 4 - EMR 3 in 10 innings
    Game 2, Comets 7 - New York Panters 0
    Bracket play
    Game 1 (8:00 this morning) Comets 9 - New York Thunder 0
    Our next game is tonight @ 6:00

    The Comets lost to a team from Pa. tonight so we will be beginning play in the losers bracket on Saturday morning. Haven't heard anything since Friday night.

    Cardinals Finish 9th

    The 14U Cardinals made it to the last game LATE Saturday night and finished 9th out of 64 teams. We went 6-2 on the week and of the 2 losses, one was one of those where you beat yourself, the other one, we we were just beat by a better team. (They won the tournament).

    I couldn't be prouder of our girls. These young ladies battled back from behind in 5 of our 6 wins.

    On to 16U!

    Congrats on a great showing!

    Good luck at 16U I'm sure you will be very successful. I heard you guys are really loading up.
