I would like to thank all tournament directors who make it a point to have a church service on Sunday mornings. It doesn't take alot of time but it makes a mom,who already feels guilty about missing church so much, feel a little better. My daughter loves to play softball and looks forward to every tournament. We were at a tournament in Salisbury last year and they had a church service. The guy speaking gave an invitation and at least 20 girls went up to the "altar". It made my heart feel good. It also gives everyone a minute or two to say a prayer of thanks to God for these wonderful girls and also to pray for their safety.
Thanks again to all involved in the Sunday morning services!!

I have to agree. On the way to the Pride last week, my DD said that she hoped we would have chuch services at some of the showcases this year. She really enjoys Cowboy church. Since she has been playing travel ball since she was nine, we have missed alot of church.

The head of my DD's organization holds a devotional before the first Sunday game. Having the tournament do a bit more would certainly be appreciated.

    Sunday morning

If my DD's team plays on Sunday morning. We always have a Sunday School lesson for the the girls and parents. We make the time for it. If the tourney officials are having one, we go to it. If not we have our own. Teaching our kids there are more important things than just softball. Faith in God, family, friends and how all this can relate to softball.
