    any idea of the status of former Hickory High All Stater and Heat Baseball standout, Derik Bolick. D-BO only had a few ABs at Richmond this year after starting all year as a freshman. I have to figure he is injured. If that is the case, has he recovered?

    No, I haven't heard anything. I did run into him at a Crawdad game a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get a chance to chat.

    My understanding is that he did have an injury, but doing good now and is excited about the upcoming year at Richmond.
