    On behalf of the Carolina Curve we would like to congratulate Kayla Kindley (Central Cabarrus/Curve), and her parents Joan and Bart as she has committed to play for Stanly Community College fand coach Rodgers. Kayla had several offers but wanted to remain close to home and continue her play. Kayla has had an oustanding 2009 season as she was named all district and all state this year in high school ball, and has also been a huge threat for the Curve this summer as she has batted close to .400 and led the team in RBI's. Kayla is not only a great softball player, but also ranks close to the top of her class in GPA as well. We wish Kayla the best of luck and look foward to her being a major force at the next level!!!

    Kayla I've played with you for over 5 years now and I am so glad your gonna play @ the next level. It's just too bad that we will be playing against each other from now on. I'm soooooo happy for you and I really hope you love it @ Stanly.

    Congratulations Kayla!!!! We're all so happy to see you are going to play at the next level.

    I know your mom and dad are extremely proud of you and so are we. The best thing of all is you are going to be playing just right around the corner and we'll get to come watch you play often! Coach Rogers is getting a great ball player!

    Congrats again from Janet, Lester, Tori and the entire Carolina Blast family!!!

    I just wanted to thank y'all for everything that you have said. I know that I will have a blast playing softball in college and I am extremely excited to do so. Now that I know where I am going to college and that I am going to be playing with Coach Ben Rogers and the SCC Eagles, I'm even more excited to get there! Not only is Stanly less than 10 minutes from my house, but it has my major and will cost next to nothing! What more could you ask? My family can come watch me play because our home field is right next door in Locust! I absolutely feel that I have made the most practical and sensible decision that I possibly could, and it's everything I wanted! Thanks again; it means a lot.
