Team TFS Organization Tryouts

Team TFS will be hosting tryouts for 18u, 16u, and 14u teams on Saturday, August 22nd. The tryout will be located at Enloe High School. 18u and 16u will tryout starting at 11am and 14u at 3pm. More information about the location can be found at our website. All those that are interested, please email. Team TFS is based out of Raleigh, but we have access to practice locations in the Triangle and Triad. We have players that are committed and travel from all over NC and SC. The last 4 years, all players that have competed at 18u and chosen too, have gone on to play collegiate softball. Players have gone on to play NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College. The head coaches of our organization combined have over 30 years of experience at travel ball and college. We are also apart of The Fastpitch School (TFS). It is ran by Coach Michael Bastian who has over 20 years experience in Olympic level, international, and NCAA Division I softball. Coach Bastian comes to NC typically once a month to work with players one and one and in team clinic situations. Between Team TFS and TFS we have connections with many college coaches across the country. Team TFS 18u, 16u, and 14u will compete in regional showcases/tournaments as well as Colorado Fireworks, Rising Stars in Florida, and Surf City showcase in California. Carolina Thunder Cat Tryouts

The Thunder Cats based in Spartanburg, SC will hold tryouts for 14u/16u/18u on Saturday, Aug. 29,2009.

The Blues are having their last tryout Sunday, we have looked at over 34 players and appreciate the interest, we can still use a middle infielder 2011, 2012, or even a quality 2013, and maybe a catcher and OF! If you are interested, come show your stuff!

 

Carolina Elite 18 Gold / 16A Tryouts

Carolina Elite Gold and Carolina Elite 16A based out of the Greenville / Spartanburg area of SC are holding tryouts at USC Upstate Saturday August 22nd at 12pm.

Carolina Elite Gold is coached by Chris Hawkins and Bryan Pack from USC Upstate. This team plays a challenging 18 Gold schedule. Players must be within 50 miles of USC Upstate to be part of this team due to NCAA rules with college coach participation. Carolina Elite 16A is coached by Tony Genovese former (CA) Corona Angels 18 Gold coach. His assistants Adrienne and Stan Nix both played college ball at D1 schools. Adrienne was an ALL SEC catcher at South Carolina. This team is open to 93 and younger birthdays. This team will compete 1 year at 16A before moving into Gold play. This team will play a combo 16A and 18U exposure schedule in 2010. Thank you to all that came out to tryouts yesterday. We had to deal with a little wet weather, but were able to make it through it for 18u and 16u. Curve 18u looking for catcher!!

The Carolina Curve 18u are looking for a 2011 or 2012 catcher for the upcoming fall and next summer seasons. If you are interested please send me a pm, you will be catching the majority of the innings as our other catcher is a 2010 graduate and will be playing only a few tournaments next summer. We play a very competitive ASA showcase schedule including the Hot Times in Florence, as well as all of the Cardinals Showcase tournaments.
