    22

My freshman year on varsity, freshmen got last pick on the uniforms. I settled for 22 because my birthday is 2/2/92. Needless to say, my jersey was an extra large that year so we had to take it in about 2 inches on each side. The next year we got new uniforms so I got 22 in a small. Every since then, it's been my favorite number.

My DD tries to get #1. She is usually the smallest and quickest person on her team.

I have 3 daughters who all play softball. In addition, they all look alike and sometimes the two oldest are mistaken for one another. My oldest has always chosen #17 because her birthday is on the 17th. When my second daughter started playing she chose #17 because it was her older sister's number and my third daughter followed suit.

This year, my second daughter, now 12 yrs old, left rec ball and started playing travel ball. Out of habit she asked for #17. Almost immediately after that she asked if she could choose another number and chose #3. She is the 3rd grandchild out of 6 and stated that she wanted her own number and her own identity.

I'm excited to see what number my 3rd daughter chooses for TB when the time comes. These are things that make for great memories later :)

    number 10.

I have been #10 on every team since I was ten yrs old. Chipper Jones was always my favorite player so thats why I chose it. The only years I was not able to be #10 was my 8th grade yr on varsity and my freshmen yr because #10 was already taken so I had to wait till she graduated, so for those two years I settled for #5 because it was my older cousins baseball number who went to the same school as I did. I then switched back to #10 after she graduated and lucked out when I went to college because a senior with that number had just graduated.

    #14

I chose 14 because in high school my Dad was always 15 and my mom was always 13, and I couldn't pick one or the other because that would not be very nice. So I compromised and got 14!
That's my story, and I'm stickin to it!!!
