    most of us already know about the big game between Kannapolis and Thomasville, but not too far behind is the SR @ NWC game. at first glance, one may not take much stock in this one, but looking deeper, this should be a real good game. NWC plays well at home, SR is 2-0 and fresh off an upset of Kannapolis. could they be ripe for the picking? NWC got manhandled at WR last week but is a very talented team with Jeremy Cannon at QB. you have got to know that they will be working hard to get back in the win column. is SR for real? beating NWC on their home turf will put them at 3-0 and adding their already impressive, early win streak over tourgh opponents this season. get there early, or walk a country mile after parkng out by the highway, and find a place to stand. the joint will be jumpin'!

    One thing we can be sure of is Concord will get a win this Friday. Not sure what is up with my old high school (Class of '73) but East has been terrible the last few years. And this year seems even worse.


    BTW VI: Saw a clip of Moorsville this past week. What's up with the new uni's without the big white M on the side of the helmet? I liked the traditional look myself.

    Radio Free Cabarrus will broadcast the Hickory Ridge at Central Cabarrus game live and also will be available for listentng later as well. Here is the game link

    So much for your prediction! East 30-Concord-0. The Mustangs were awesome! Not sure why you're saying this year seems worse--they are much improved! They're a young team and will lose some games, but they're well coached and there are a lot of good attitudes and camaraderie this year.
