    The Canes North 16's are ranked the #1 Showcase team in the country by Perfect Game after going undefeated and winning the WWBA National Championship.

    Canes Baseball is reporting that Ryan Mayhew (2011 RHP) has verbally committed to UNC-Wilmington. Ryan attends West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC. Ryan had an outstanding summer on the best pitching staff in the country with the North Canes 16's.

    Congratulations to Mayhew and the Canes Organization.
